You’ve got a premature evaluation problem
Is your organisation losing out on innovation because you dismiss ideas too soon? Do you take into account the biases which affect the decisions your people make when assessing ideas? If so, you are not alone. Humans tend to favour certainty, predictability and familiarity, but early-stage innovation is characterised by uncertainty and ambiguity. Which means leaders and managers often unconsciously reject new ideas – even if they want and ask for them!
Recognising the hidden biases, blocks and barriers in your organisation is the first step. Developing an inclusive and effective evaluation of ideas leads to more inventive products, services and processes. If you’re searching for ways to transform emerging ideas into profitable innovation, then please take a look at how I can help you below.
